En-suite Bathroom

Before After

This first picture shows the en-suite room as i first saw it, the client had installed some plumbing and had built a partition wall .
Thus my first job was to clear out the room and fix plaster board and plaster the room as needed. The picture below shows a green moisture resistant board used in kitchens and bathrooms.
I then began tiling out the large shower cubicle area straight on top of the moisture resistant board.
Here you can see the process of tiling out the bathroom floor area, i had a few problems with the floor level which was a bit uneven. The client had installed under floor heating through out this area which was a great idea as a wall radiators would of decreased vital space in such a small en-suite it also means the ceramic tiles would be nice and warm to walk on even without slippers.
Our client wanted a new en-suite bathroom added to a large bedroom. Within the bathroom the client required a toilet / hand basin and a shower cubicle.
The pictures shows all the work undertaken which includes plaster boarding out, plastering, tiling, painting, fitting of door/skirting and architrave around the door and fitting of toilet/basin/shower cubicle. This was a nice job which helped improve the clients home life when other family members visited during the summer/ Christmas holidays. It took nearly three weeks to complete with only the fitting of the electrical shower and drying out of the plaster mix finish that slowed progress.
